When Will I See You Again?

Hai hai, today is a day to remember, ahahahaha, my first time going for a ballroom dance party & actually had the chance to dance for the first time at public stage.

This morning I had to confirm with Benny Ling so as to follow his car to Eastwood Golf Club for the dance party. Then started prepaing at 5pm. Long sleeves lagi, leather shoes. Then arrive there quite early, no 1 there yet. So we (Benny, Mejid and me) took a trip to the nearby ground to watch people playing golf. By then I found out that Benny really knows alot of things (This is confirmed throughout the time tonight after hearing alot from him).

Okay, the event started around 7pm where we got to have dinner first. The dishes served was quite ordinary, although the ticket price is a little bit extraordinary (RM 35 for your information). But after looking at how they dance, I found that the point is not on the dishes...hahaha.

First dance is cha cha cha, 3 rounds follow by waltz 3 rounds, then rumba, tango, quick step, mambo, rythm......then some line dance of which I don't have any idea, before this, of course. There was even Rock'n Roll......Of all the dances, quite alot of them, I only knew Cha cha & Waltz. So i got to pay attention for the 1st 2 dances they're doing. Wow, it was some kind of an experience, opened my eyes though, because we've only learnt so far but not yet seen how the pros have done the real thing. The twisting of the hips & waist as well as the posture of the body including the head down to toes.......the swinging of hands......they did it with style, very impressive. Then, my teacher, Mr Wong L.U. asked me to join the dance, he said he'll find me a dance partner, but I was too "shy" or afraid to dance. Moreover, the dance just started, and I didn't know how things will go on, especially after seeing those pretty good dancers dancing.

So there we were, watching and waiting.......for quite some while, after around 1 and a half hour or so, Benny & Mejid were out to take some air. Then by that time it was another round of cha cha again. Ohh my, this time my teacher come to ask me to give a try again, since he'd already found me a partner & somehow I was a little bit ready, I accepted and went on dancing with a girl of whom I didn't have the chance to know her name. The 1st dance was quite good, I was able to dance to the tune and it went smooth.......After that I danced with another girl, this time I didn't do so well, was not good enough at leading, haih, maybe too nervous.....hahhaha, maybe because the other people dancing there are "teacher - class" of dancer, gave me abit pressure...

Then I went out to take some air, was expected to dance for the waltz which is coming right after some other genres. But then Benny came & we had to leave before the party ends, hahaha!!! Bid goodbye to teacher and some new faces we just got to know there. There goes RM35, quite worth, I think, for me, since I've somehow can be considered "experienced" liaw ahhahaahahah, know how the dance should be performed.

PS> a song I've suddenly got the urge to listen, although I've never known this song, but have heard when I was young---> When Will I See You Again - by The Three Degrees, a very nice song!

The Mark

Yesterday was the mark of the end of semester 1, with the grand finale exam - Engineering Computing 100. As expected, the test was quite in fact, a hell of an exam. Things aren't looking good for all of us. But since it concerns all of us, situations are quite the contrary, we might get a better chance of surviving because if we float, we float together; if we sink, we might as well drown ourselves. It's a relative kind of thinking, when you've broaden your horizon to the limit of not that of this physical world, but a frame out of this frame.

Well, today I got to continue "The Prince of Persia: Warrior Within" & "LOTR: Battle For Middle Earth". Also, tomorrow would be the last lesson for my dancing class. The dance I'm learning now is the ballroom dance known as Waltz. I like this dance alot compared to Cha Cha, I don't know how to describe the reasons, I guess I just like the style & beat of this dance. Gorgeous!

For the 1st time, I'm afraid!

There's been alot going on the past few weeks. For sure I hope I'm not going to have gone through it again in the future, but I really doubt. The reality is so real that people doesn't care about your pride, but rather, your work. Don't start to talk about how you feel towards a thing or situation when you're fresh out there. Rather, get something done so that people can see your work, then when you've become successful, that is the only time you start talking about how you feel!

The test is not over. The mathematics exam on monday 13th was a surprise. But not as much to the mechanics on thursday, which is today! Ohh my, for the first time in any of my exams, I just wish I could pass fairly then scoring high!!! What have become of me?!?! My God, I've been praying so hard lately, Thank God everything seems to be not so jeopardised, at least for now.
